  1. You can just click "turn off buzz" in the footer to remove it from Gmail. You can re-enable it at any time.

  2. Yes – but you have to make sure you've unfollowed/blocked everyone Google automatically set you up with first – or you are essentially still participating, and those relationships are still public.

    I LOVE Google, but I was shocked at how tone-deaf this is – if you're going to default to public, there needs to be a lot more information available on how to adjust that, and a lot more clarity on how to do so.

  3. I hated it at first but now that I have the buzz notifications filtered to skip the in box, I am starting to actually kind of like it.
