All Tendenci sites are back online as of 11:30am CST 6/18/08. We are still talking with our server facility, Sungard, on the cause of the outage and will keep you posted.

Tendenci Web sites are currently down due to a service outage today (June 18th) starting around 10:30am CST. We are experiencing
data transport problems at our co-location facilities at Sungard. Engineers are
working to resolve the issues.

As of 10:30 am CST all Tendenci sites are currently down due to a data transport issue at our colo facility, Sungard. The facility’s engineers are looking into the outage right now.
We will keep you updated and expect the issue to be resolved very quickly.

We just wanted to remind you about our great Tendenci Photos Module, a powerful new feature on Tendenci. We’ve seen a lot of clients get really creative with their photos and we think it’s a great way for organizations to tell their story.

With a few exceptions, the Schipul email is up and running again (thanks to our awesome IT people!). Unfortunately we had to restore our email exchange server so any mail sent or received by a Schipul.com email address between Tuesday morning, May 6, and Friday morning, May 9, is lost. This means if you sent anything to a Schipul employee, they may not have received it and you will need to resend it.
We are working hard to make sure that we don’t miss any correspondence from you but some of us our still having email issues. Please feel free to call us at 281.497.6567 if you need anything at all!

We have been experiencing difficulties with our exchange server since around 6:00 PM yesterday. Unfortunately mail sent after that time is possibly lost. Mail sent after 4:00 AM this morning is in the process of being recovered.
This only affects email sent to a schipul.com email address. All client mail is still up and running smoothly.

There is a new section on the Tendenci home page called "Tendenci & Other Tools" where you can find some novice to advanced tools that may help you while using the software. Some of these tools include a style sheet editor for your site and picnik (an online image editing tool).
Searching for jobs on your Tendenci jobs board is about to get easier. Soon, we will be updating the current jobs search to use a new 1-line search much like our Tendenci Help Files. Instead of choosing what specific field you want to search (which can be tedious and unhelpful), the new 1-line search will look for your text in all of the relevant jobs fields.
We have even updated the look of jobs in the search by removing some of the clutter to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.

But I need to be able to search by Location!
Don’t worry, with our Advanced Search option, you can search by Company, Location, Category, or specify jobs that do not require travel. You can do an Advanced Search by clicking the text link just underneath the search bar. Remember, your Advanced Search will also include your search text (if you type anything in) and use the advanced fields to narrow down your results.
The new jobs search should be launching next week!
Did you know you could easily see all the comments made to a
photo album?
Whenever you’re viewing a
photo album, you will always see the number of comments associated with that
album. If the album has at least one
comment you can click on the link and view a full list of all the comments made
for this one album.
