Schipul Cheer Gift Guide ’09 – Geeks and Gamers

Need some stellar gift ideas? We’ve got you covered. Personally, I am a huge Christmas fan (I started celebrating in October) and am always on the lookout for unique gifts to give. This year, my gift to everyone is my secret stash of awesome gift ideas and online shops.

This week, I present to you a quick gift guide for all of those geeks, gamers, and techy people in your life. Feel free to purchase anything on this list and mail it to the Schipul office with an ‘Attn: to Brandi.”

ALSO (BONUS!): If nothing on the list fits for your geek/gamer/techy then leave a comment that tells me a little about them and a price range and I will try to help you find something special! Or, tweet it using the tag #schipulcheer09.

And literally, in no particular order whatsoever, the gift guide:

Gamers know their roots and no matter if they have moved on to the PS3 or Xbox 360, the still pay some homage to the NES. Note: A lot of gamers avoid the outdoors, so buying a hat to wear in cold weather may not be the most practical idea.

  1. Total brilliancesauce. Now I need to queue up those who are spending money on me this holiday season.

  2. I too think in key commands. It happened just yesterday that i spilled some coffee in the kitchen and upon doing so I thought to myself Ctrl+Z! Ctrl+Z!

I will leave you with this: Ctrl+O your mind, create something Ctrl+N, don't forget to Ctrl+W the door and when you spill coffee on the floor you want to Ctrl+Z.

  3. Mana mug ftw. I seriously need to find one of those. Or perhaps have someone make one out of the heat induced paint so it is blue when full (hot) and when as you drink it, it cools off and seems to disappear.

  4. Thank you Brandi. I am in heaven and no longer have to wonder what to get Josh for XMAS. 😀

  5. Those "Russian doll.. uh.. things.. " actually had me laughing out loud… not 'cause they are funny… but because my first thought was, "oh, those are actually pretty cool." – hahahahahaha – ok, yes I am a geek – what's new?

  6. It’s my son’s birthday in the near future and I feel that this write-up has made my mind up regarding just what exactly I’ll buy him.
