  2. In an environment where the bossman requires everything for nothing, yesterday, and with very little direction, how feasible is it to try and boost sales through social media marketing without what I would consider the required time commitment and with a million other things to do?

  4. Win two tickets, potentially? Just by commenting and asking a question? I’m in!

My big Q: is using Tweetfeed to auto feed your and other Web posts through Twitter a good or bad idea? How can it be a good idea?

  5. What is the best source (or best sources) for keeping up with all of the new Web 2.0 tools, applications and strategies?

  6. It is impossible to update 257 different social media sites individually, so how much can be automated, and what are the best tools to do so? I do not mean totally automating and not being engaged, just using what you have put on one or more sites to feed others, e.g., Twitterfeed to send blog posts to Twitter, Facebook app to update Facebook status from Twitter, etc.

  7. I would love to hear/learn more about running/managing national campaigns that do not base themselves only on twitter. Also better ways to utilize LinkedIn.

  8. What is the etiquette of taking a growing relationship from a social network offline and into someone’s office or a restaurant or conference to solidify the union and help each others’ businesses?

  10. is it worth it for a company to create their own socail media network or use existing sites – for example – creating your own site to post videos and pics, versus creatign a channel on youtube and flicker?

  12. How do you get your industry (ie pharmacy professionals) to adopt technologies, such as twitter, when they have not yet gravitated towards it?

BTW – look at all the cheaters, posting multiple times. 🙂

I would only be able to use 1 ticket, so if chosen, please give the other one away to someone else.

It’s all about the web karma.

  13. Just wanted to give a shout out and a big “Thank you” for the workshop tickets. There was a lot of information presented, but it was well-organized and easy to absorb and not overwhelming.

Giovanni was great, and I got several actionable ideas out of the day. What more can you ask? :o)

Thanks again to Giovanni, Jay and all the folks at Schipul for a fantastic day!

  14. Dear Schipul,

    You rock.

Thanks very much for the chance to learn from @giovanni at the Extreme Social Marketing 101 conference. I learned so much that my head is still sore. Thanks, as well, to @cathystrucker who actually won the contest, but returned some good web karma…(actually sat next to Cathy during the lecture – what an awesome lady)

What did I learn? I’m glad you asked…here is a partial (very limited) list of some of my takeaways.

    1. Social media is a great channel to obtain traditional press coverage.

    2. Ideal keyword ratio is around 5% per page.

    3. Don’t use social media to directly market anything to anybody. Them them…speak to them…and then always give them a way to find what you offer. (great reinforcement, but I really learned that from Fayza).

    4. Proper & strategic use of flickr and youtube can get you soaring to the top of natural ranks on the search engines.

    5. HARO – helpareporter.com (awesome tool)

Now, it’s just a matter of integrating all that I learned.

    Thanks again Schipul and @cathystucker
