The Tendenci crew is pushing out a shiny new newsletter editor / WYSIWYG ('what you see is what you get') tool for you to more quickly and easily add content to your newsletters. Keep an eye out for it later this week!
Here are a few features to look forward to:
New and intuitive user interface – Based on common desktop editing tools, the editor will be familiar to you from other software that you use regularly, but cleaner and easier to use than our old editor.
More powerful image uploader and manager – The new editor makes uploading and managing your images a snap. You'll really like this new interface!
Collapsible toolbar – Keep your editing area as minimal as you'd like it to be by expanding and contracting your editing toolbar at will!
Where’s our text selections for Header 1, Header 2 etc?
I see this “newsletter” toolbar is now the editor for our cms webpages as well. Where’s the article explaining what’s new and the tutorial on how to do things in the new toolbar?
Why doesn’t the editor display the fonts used correctly when in edit mode. All of the arial fonts appear as some type of serif font. It’s very disconcerting. The 8 pt arial font I used on previously created pages is larger than the “same” 8 pt font on a newly edited page.
Hey Patsy —
Sometimes the styles (CSS) used to build the site are conflicting with the background styles that control the editor. I’m going to send you an email from Support so that we can look a little deeper into your specific issue. Thanks for letting us know!
